Like all places, Davao City has its own history, evidences of the past can actually still be seen at different places in the city. The city also has centers that continually exhibits the past and the present of Davao. A memorial shrine dedicated to the brotherhood of all men regardless of race, creed or ideology. It decries the futility of war as a means of settling international dispute. The site is the pilgrimage of place for big groups of Japanese war veterans, widows and kins during the Annual Reunion of Peace Program.

Davao City's oldest church named after San Pedro, the patron saint of Davao. The church is built in 1847 during the Spanish period led by Don Jose Uyanguren, the Spanish conquistador of Davao. The old altar of the then San Pedro is preserved at the right wing of the cathedral featuring old/antique images of saints and that of St. Peter.

The country's highest peak towering at 10, 311 feet above sea level. It boasts of hot and cold springs, giant wild flowers, crystal clear waters, waterfalls and moss-covered forests. It is considered and international mecca for mountain climbers. Located in Tamayong, Davao City side.

A nature park planted with different fruit-bearing trees. Different species of trees can also be found around the area. The center is also home to various species of animals.
